STELLAR CREATES FOUNDATION TO SUPPORT CIVIC AND COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAMS NATIONALLY

Jacksonville, Fla. – Oct. 2, 2006 – Reflecting the spirit and intent of company founders and employees, Stellar will announce the formation of the Stellar Foundation: Foundation for Hope on Friday, Oct. 6, 2006.

Designed to formalize the company’s community support program, the Stellar Foundation will assist civic and community service programs that encourage volunteerism and enhance the effectiveness of the non-profit sector, address community needs, promote leadership, and support diversity in the workforce and society.  In recent years, Stellar has donated as much as 20 percent of its net profits to charitable organizations in the areas where its employees live and work.

"Stellar created the foundation to make a greater impact on individuals, groups and community service programs in need of assistance.  Stellar also wanted to centralize, coordinate and recognize our employee's charitable participation, and the kick-off of the Stellar Foundation will mark this beginning," said Ron Foster, Jr, CEO\President of Stellar.

Any 501(c)3 with the resources and manpower to develop, implement and successfully complete its proposed program that meets the goals of the Foundation’s mission is encouraged to submit a grant application. The Stellar Foundation will review applications and award grants on a quarterly basis the first of March, June, September and December of each year. Grant applications can be obtained at www.stellarfoundation.org.

Additionally, Stellar employees are encouraged to support the Foundation through the matching gift program where Stellar will match 100 percent of donations to the employee’s non-profit organization of choice.

To kick-off of the Foundation, Stellar will host an all-American style picnic for employees, business associates and their families on Friday, Oct. 6 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Stellar headquarters in Mandarin. The event is also designed to celebrate the Foundation’s sponsorship of Dreams Come True participant John Searcy, a 13-year-old Jacksonville boy with Leukemia. Thanks to support from the Stellar Foundation, his dream will come true when he attends the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York this November with his parents Pamela and David and sister Paige.
